Reverse description The field displays ten heraldic shields arranged in a circular pattern: the uppermost is the Arms of the Province of Scania surmounted by a ducal crown, while the remaining nine are the arms of Scanian towns, each topped by a mural crown. The date D. I AUGUSTI / MDCCCXXXVI is inscribed in two lines at the centre of the field. A horizontal line separates the main field from the exergue, which contains a three-line dedicatory Latin inscription.
