Obverse description Two monoplane aircraft in flight to the left over a calm sea, with a rising sun and radiating rays in the lower field. Japanese characters are arranged in an arc along the upper rim, and a publisher's legend appears in the lower exergue. The engraver's signature S. HATA is inscribed in the lower right field.
