Reverse description Depiction of the first mass in the Philippines happened at Limasawa, Southern Leyte (March 31, 1521). The mass was conducted by the priest Pedro de Valderrama from Magellan`s expedition crew. Important figures who attended the mass that is visible in the medal are Magellan (middle), Rajah Colambu (Left), Rajah Siagu (Right), Antonio Figafetta (back). Magellan`s Cross and his lead ship Trinidad are also visible.
