Obverse description High-relief crowned bust of Edward VII facing left, wearing robes of state with the collar of the Order of the Garter and holding a sceptre, set against a background displaying elements of the royal arms including lions passant and a lion rampant. The date 1901 appears in a cartouche at the base, with maple leaf sprigs below. The encircling legend is separated from the inner design by a beaded border, with the maker's signature P. ELLIS & C. visible in the lower left field.

Obverse lettering IN COMMEMORATION OF THE ACCESSION OF EDWARD VII REX ET IMP. 1901
Reverse description Central quartered shield of arms surmounted by a beaver crest, supported by scrollwork and flanked by sheaves of wheat and a maple branch, with two oval vignettes on either side depicting allegorical figures of industry and the arts. Rectangular vignettes at top and bottom portray agriculture and rural themes. Three ribbon banners below the shield bear the mottoes INDUSTRY, INTEGRITY, and INTELLIGENCE. The whole is encircled by the association's name in the outer legend.
