| Obverse description | A standing draped female allegorical figure faces slightly left, raising a laurel wreath in her right hand and holding a tall staff in her left, flanked by agricultural produce and an industrial townscape in the field. The legend DOMINION OF CANADA EXHIBITION curves around the upper periphery within a beaded border, while the motto THE WONDROUS WEST appears in the left field.
