Reverse description The arms of the County Borough of Devonport displayed centrally, surmounted by a crest and flanked by ornate scrollwork. Below the shield, a scroll bears the motto 'SURSUM SEMPER HONESTE'. A crown with crossed sceptres appears beneath, above a banner reading 'COUNTY BOROUGH DEVONPORT'. Further banners below name the Mayor and the coronation date.
