Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra facing right in high relief, flanked by laurel sprays at the base. The legend EDWARD VII arcs left and QUEEN ALEXANDRA arcs right around the upper field. The medal has a suspension hole pierced at the top.

Reverse description The Royal Arms displayed centrally above a coastal scene featuring a column or lighthouse to the left and a sailing vessel to the right, with the motto ribbon below the shield inscribed DIEU ET MON DROIT. The lower half of the field bears a large scrolled ribbon inscribed CORONATION flanked by floral sprays, with the inscriptions GOD BLESS THE KING, JUNE, 26TH, and 1902 arranged in the field. A suspension hole is pierced at the top.
