Obverse description The obverse features a finely modelled right-facing bust of Dr. David de Sola Pool wearing clerical robes and a distinctive flat-topped cap. To the right in the field is the de Sola family coat of arms in relief. The legend "DAVID DE SOLA POOL" arcs around the upper rim, with the dedication "GIVEN REVERENTLY BY EDNA FUERTH LEMLE" along the lower rim, and the date 1969 and engraver's signature visible in the lower right field.
