Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Johann Albert Baron von Korff in high relief, wearing a wig with ribbon and a lace cravat, with the badge of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called suspended at his chest. The circular Latin legend runs along the inner border, with the birth date inscribed in the lower exergue.

Reverse description An allegorical scene in high relief depicting a semi-draped female figure with a radiant sun crown standing to the right of a large pedestal monument, upon which a five-line inscription is carved; she points to the text with a stylus. Two putti are shown at the base of the monument, one reclining among attributes of science including books and a globe, the other leaning against a heraldic shield. The date of death appears in the lower exergue.
