Reverse description A seated allegorical female figure, identified as Clio, the muse of history, depicted in classical robes and holding a scroll in her raised right hand and a stylus in her left. The legend VETAT MORI arcs above, the abbreviation U.R.F. appears below the figure, and the engraver's signature E. WEIGAND FEC. is inscribed along the lower rim. The central design is flanked by two laurel branches tied at the base.
