Reverse description The reverse bears an eleven-line Latin inscription filling the oval field, interrupted at centre by an oval cartouche depicting a royal crown supported by five arms issuing from clouds, with rays of divine light above and the legend CONCORDIA DANTE ORDINVM around the cartouche. At the bottom of the field, a bound bundle of lances or arrows in relief.
