| Obverse description | The brass centre features a central shield bearing the legend ГОРОД ВОИНСКОЙ СЛАВЫ, flanked by decorative laurel branches, with two military aircraft in relief above and artillery pieces to either side. Two armoured tractors appear below the shield in the lower field. The city name ВЯЗЬМА is inscribed along the upper edge of the copper-nickel ring, which is decorated with an oak and laurel wreath motif. |
