| Obverse description | The brass centre features a central shield bearing the legend ГОРОД ВОИНСКОЙ СЛАВЫ, flanked on either side by crossed artillery pieces and tanks in relief, with two aircraft depicted above the shield. The composition is framed by laurel branches. The copper-nickel outer ring carries the city name ВЕЛИКИЕ ЛУКИ along the upper arc, with an oak leaf wreath decorating the lower portion of the ring. |
