Obverse description Left-facing bust of the Muse of Architecture in high relief, her hair elaborately braided, surmounted by a detailed architectural crown depicting a domed Byzantine-style church flanked by a Romanesque bell tower and a minaret. A draughtsman's compass appears in the left field. The engraver's and architect's signatures are incised along the lower rim.
