Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Bonaparte as First Consul in left profile, wearing a military uniform, within a wreath of laurel and oak branches. The circular legend runs along the upper rim, while in the lower field a three-line inscription names the battle and date, with the engravers' signatures BRENET and H. AUGUSTE incised below the bust and at the base respectively.
