| Obverse description | The obverse depicts a baptism scene in high relief set within an arched architectural frame with ornate acanthus scroll decoration. A robed Orthodox priest holding a nude infant stands above a decorated baptismal font flanked by two twisted-column candlesticks, each bearing three tapers. Orthodox cross medallions appear in the decorative border on either side. |
