Obverse description A detailed relief depiction of the Halifax Town Clock (1803), a multi-storey stone building surmounted by a domed octagonal clock tower, set against a dark field. The curved legend 'HALIFAX REGIONAL COIN CLUB' arcs along the upper rim, with 'TOWN CLOCK 1803' inscribed to the left of the structure and 'EST. 1958' along the lower rim.

The legend 'APNA SPRING SHOW' arcs along the upper rim; inscriptions 'The STEAM-SHIP BRITANNIA' appear to the lower left and 'SAMUEL CUNARD 1787-1865' to the lower right of the figure; 'HALIFAX MAY 6, 2007' is inscribed along the lower rim.
