Obverse description Left-facing draped and laureate bust of Queen Anne, wearing a crown and ermine-lined mantle fastened with a jewelled clasp, with pearl ornamentation and a star order visible on the chest. The circular Latin legend runs around the entire periphery of the field.

Reverse description A detailed panoramic battle scene depicting the engagement at Malplaquet, with cannon fire, billowing smoke, troops, and cavalry amid trees and wooded terrain. Above the scene, a winged figure of Victory flies in high relief, holding a laurel wreath in each outstretched hand. The lower portion is divided from the battle scene by a horizontal line, below which the commemorative inscription appears in four lines within the exergue.
