Obverse description Five portrait busts in high relief arranged in a quincunx pattern, each set within a laurel wreath medallion: the central and largest effigy depicts Alexander III facing left, flanked at left by Paul I and at right by Maria Feodorovna, with Peter I at top and Alexander II at bottom, all facing left. Decorative heraldic cartouches fill the corners between the medallions. A Cyrillic circular legend runs along the outer border, dated 1886.
