Obverse description Reproduction of the medieval chapter seal of Meissen Cathedral, depicting two standing figures in high relief: Saint John the Evangelist on the left holding a book, and Saint Donatus on the right in episcopal vestments, both set beneath an architectural arcade of stylised Romanesque towers and gables. A circular legend in Gothic lettering runs along the border, and the design is presented as a recessed seal impression within the round porcelain field.
