Obverse description Left-facing bust of Saint Stephen I of Hungary (Szent István) wearing the Holy Crown of Hungary, depicted in royal regalia with a decorative collar. The legend around the inner circle reads 'SZT. ISTVÁN' to the left and '969-1038' to the right, with 'ÁLLAMALAPÍTÓ' (founder of the state) inscribed along the inner circle. The engraver's name 'KÓSA' appears in the lower right field.

Reverse description A high-relief scene depicting the coronation of Saint Stephen I, with ecclesiastical figures placing the crown upon his head, flanked by attendants bearing a patriarchal cross and a crozier. Below the scene, the Holy Crown of Hungary is shown in detail between oak branches. The legend at the bottom of the field reads 'EZERÉVES MAGYARORSZÁG'. Mint marks 'BP.' and '999' appear in the lower field.
