A small figure of a rifleman stands to the lower left, aiming his rifle upward toward the tower. Reverse description A Landsknecht figure in 16th-century attire, wearing a feathered hat with flowing cloak and carrying a rifle over his right shoulder, is depicted in high relief at center. Below him, two large baroque cartouche shields flank an ornamental foliate device. The dates 1862 and 1887 appear in the upper field to either side of the figure. A wreath border frames the entire composition.
