Obverse description A large multi-masted sailing vessel under full sail is depicted in high relief, sailing to the left over a stylized choppy sea that fills the lower portion of the field. The ship features multiple billowing sails, rigging, pennants at the mastheads, and a detailed hull. The engraver's signature TERRIN appears in small relief at the lower right.
