Obverse description The obverse depicts three Soviet T-34 tanks in relief advancing across Red Square, with the facade of Lenin's Mausoleum bearing the inscription ЛЕНИН in the left field and a crowd of figures on the tribune rendered in laser-matted background relief. In the lower foreground, a cluster of captured German standards and banners is shown in applied colour. The date 24.06.1945 г. appears in the lower right exergue area.

Reverse description The reverse features a relief bust portrait of Marshal Georgy Zhukov in full dress uniform, adorned with numerous orders and medals, standing at a podium with microphones, set against a black field. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the design along the rim. At the bottom of the field, a five-pointed star in relief is flanked by the MMD mint mark monogram.
