| Obverse description | The copper-nickel centre features a relief depiction of the Volgograd monument "Stand to the Death" (Стоять насмерть), showing a bare-chested soldier embedded in a rocky plinth and holding a submachine gun, set against a background of flying cranes in the upper field. A five-pointed star and a laurel branch are rendered in the lower left field, flanked by the dates 1941 and 1945. The legend "75 ЛЕТ ПОБЕДЫ В ВЕЛИКОЙ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННОЙ ВОЙНЕ" curves along the upper rim of the tombac outer ring. |
