Obverse description The Hungarian middle coat of arms in high relief at centre, featuring four quartered fields with barry stripes, a patriarchal cross, an eagle, three Angevin lilies, and a rampant lion, framed by a beaded inner border with floral ornaments. The circular legend surrounds the shield, with the date MÉE 1999 appearing within the inner border above the arms. The outer rim is beaded, and the fineness mark 925 is visible in the field.
