Obverse description A long cross divides the field into four quadrants, with the crowned arms of Danzig displayed on a shield at the centre. The upper-left quadrant bears the arms of the St. Reinhold Bank showing a mounted knight, the upper-right quadrant displays the arms of the Holy Three Kings Bank with three crowns, and the lower quadrants depict a Gothic cityscape of Danzig on the left and the standing figure of St. Christopher with his staff on the right. The dates 1481 and 2.12.1931 appear in the field, with the inscription ST. CHRISTOPHORUS alongside the saint's figure. A beaded border frames the entire composition.
