Obverse description Square red stoneware (Böttgersteinzeug) plaque featuring the Meissen manufactory monogram in the central field, with the legend STAATLICHE at the top and MEISSEN at the bottom in relief. To the right of the monogram, the founding inscription GEGR 6. VI. 1710 commemorates the establishment date of the manufactory. A suspension hole with a black, red, and yellow twisted cord is present at the top.
