| Obverse description | A crowned angel with outstretched wings stands in high relief in the center of the field, flanking two male figures: the figure on the left holds an anchor and oar, while the figure on the right holds a fasces and a shield bearing the arms of the Norwegian church. A radiant sun rises above the angel in the upper field, all within a solid inner ring surrounded by a circular legend, with a solid ring at the rim.
