| Obverse description | Bust of Peter Wessel Tordenskjold facing slightly left, wearing a period wig, set within an open laurel wreath in the center of the field. A circular legend runs along the upper rim, with the date 17. MAI 1915 inscribed across the field above the bust. The name PETER TORDENSKJOLD appears in the lower field below the bust. The medal is bordered by a beaded rim and fitted with a suspension loop at the top. |
