| Obverse description | The central field features the crowned Norwegian coat of arms — a rampant lion holding an axe — flanked by two draped flags, the left being the Norwegian-Swedish union flag and the right the pure Norwegian flag, all resting on crossed oak branches. The dates 1814 and 1893 arc across the upper field within a beaded border, with the engraver's initials I.T. in the lower exergue. |
