| Obverse description | Standing winged Victory figure in relief, facing slightly left, holding a palm frond in her left hand and resting her right hand on a shield bearing the Norwegian lion. A suspension loop is integral to the top of the medal, and the border is formed by a raised beaded rim. The engraver's initials appear in the lower exergue. |
