| Obverse description | Central circular field featuring a rayed eight-pointed star in relief above the date legend '17 MAI 1886', enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base. A circular legend runs around the inner border, and the hexagonal border is decorated with radial reeding and six circular bosses bearing quatrefoil flower motifs at the corners and midpoints. The engraver's name 'I. THRONDSEN' appears below the wreath near the lower border. |
