| Obverse description | Seated allegorical figure of the city goddess, crowned and draped, holding a sceptre and resting her arm on a shield bearing the Hamburg coat of arms (white castle on red), set against a large oak tree with birds in flight. A chain of coins or tokens is scattered at her feet. The engraver's signature LOOS appears in the lower field, with a three-line German legend inscribed along the lower border. |
