The coin shows Chile`s Crest on the left, depicting a shield of two colours with a five pointed star in the center and three feathered plumes at the top. On the right is Bolivia`s crest from the coat of arms, this shows an oval with an alpaca and a bundle of wheat before a tall mountain with the sun rising behind it. In the center is the Caduceus symbol of commerce with two olive branches below. The image is bordered with the inscription ` ● Peace treaty of friendship and trade ● 20 October 1904 `
