Obverse description
Above is Ukraine’s small coat of arms; under it is an ornament containing a depiction of scales, the oldest means of measuring weight and the symbol of justice; on both sides of the ornament are the years – 1917 and 2017; in the center, against a smooth background, is Klovsky Palace (built in the 18th century), which is the seat of Ukraine’s Supreme Court – the highest judicial body of Ukrainian courts of general jurisdiction, and the legends: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) (above the building), ВЕРХОВНИЙ СУД (Supreme Court) (under the building); above to the right is the mint mark of the NBU Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

Reverse description
Shows an architectural monument dating back to the middle of the 19th century – the public office that used to seat the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian People’s Republic (such offices housed the public administrative bodies of the central, province or district governments). To the left of the building is a cartouche made from a floral ornament with a trident inside it; below the building is the legend: 100/ РОКІВ (100/years). There are also the following circular legends: УТВОРЕННЯ ГЕНЕРАЛЬНОГО СУДУ (the establishment of the Supreme Court) (above) and УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ НАРОДНОЇ РЕСПУБЛІКИ (of the Ukrainian People’s Republic) (below).
