Reverse description The reverse bears nine lines of inscribed text within a recessed field, divided by a horizontal rule separating the main dedication from the final two lines naming the Prefect of Police. The inscription records the respectful congratulations of the workers of the ports of Paris to His Majesty Charles X on his accession to the Crown of France on 16 September 1824.
