Obverse description A winged putto stands atop a fluted column pedestal, arms outstretched, holding a wreath above a veiled bride on the left and a wreath above a groom figure on the right, the two figures clasping hands over the column base. Two lit altar lamps flank the scene on either side, and the legend appears in a decorative cartouche at the base of the field.

Reverse description A rectangular cartouche, suspended from two torches tied in saltire at the top, is framed by olive, oak, and lily branches. The cartouche bears the engraved dedication date '20 MAI 1913'. At the exergue, an open book is surrounded by rose sprigs and additional foliage in high relief.
