Reverse description A central flagpole bearing the company's furled banner, with two harquebuses crossed in saltire in the foreground. Behind, a detailed landscape depicts the arquebusiers' shooting range (butte) on the left bank of the Saône, with the city of Lyon visible to the left and the bastions of Fort Saint-Jean to the right. The engraver's name DUBOIS appears along the ground line. In the exergue, a three-line inscription gives the academy's name and the date 1741.
