| Obverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in archaic Maghribi script, occupying the majority of the flan. The legend references the ruling Sultan Isma'il ibn Sharif of the Alaoui dynasty. The hammered flan is irregular in shape, with a flat, grainy surface showing characteristic porosity of cast preparation.
