| Obverse description | Central field occupied by multiple lines of Arabic script in Maghribi style, struck on an irregularly shaped flan typical of Moroccan hammered coinage of the Alaoui dynasty. The legends, though partially flat due to the hammering technique, fill the entire face of the coin without border ornament. The script is deeply impressed in areas and shows the characteristic uneven relief of hand-struck dies. Individual letter strokes are bold and angular, consistent with die-cutting practices of the late 17th to early 18th century Moroccan mints. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing multiple horizontal lines of Arabic inscription in Maghribi script, densely arranged to fill the entire flan. The legends record the religious formula and mint/date information standard to Alaoui Sharifian coinage of Sultan Isma'il ibn Sharif. The strike is characteristically uneven, with areas of weakness at the periphery owing to the hammered production method and irregular planchet shape. No border or decorative framing is present, and the field surface shows the granular texture typical of this series. |
