| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Marshal Mannerheim in military uniform and garrison cap in high relief at center, with engraver's initials 'R.S.' visible in the lower right field. The bilingual legend 'JEFES EN LA SEGUNDA GUERRA / CHIEFS IN THE SECOND WAR 1939 1945' curves along the upper periphery within a beaded border, 'FINLANDIA' and 'FINLAND' appear on either side of the bust, and 'MANNERHEIM' is inscribed in large letters along the lower portion of the field. |
