| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription filling the flan, arranged in three horizontal lines of naskh script. The legend records the pious invocation, the mint city of Edirne (Adrianople), and the regnal year 933 AH. The script is boldly struck relative to the flan size, with individual letter forms clearly articulated despite the worn and patinated surfaces. The edge of the flan is irregular and slightly clipped, characteristic of hammered Ottoman copper mangirs. No decorative border or geometric frame is present. |
