Obverse description Irregular hammered copper flan displaying Arabic legend in the field, heavily worn and encrusted with green patina consistent with long burial or circulation. The mint name 'Amid' (آمد) appears within the central field, rendered in a cursive Arabic script typical of Ottoman copper coinage of the early 10th century AH. The die was hand-cut and the strike is notably off-center, a characteristic feature of provincial Ottoman manghir production. The flat, unadorned field shows no decorative border or inner circle.
