| Obverse description | Within a dotted border, the sultan's titulature is arranged in the field and divided into three registers by a pair of curved arc separators. The Arabic legend reads horizontally across the flan. The overall design is characteristic of early Ottoman hammered copper coinage, with an irregular flan and a beaded border encircling the central inscription. |
