| Obverse description | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Honorius facing right, wearing a pearl diadem and imperial paludamentum. The emperor is depicted in a youthful military guise consistent with late Roman iconographic conventions. A sceptre or spear tip is visible at the left shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads DN HONORIVS PF AVG, identifying the emperor by name and title. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped at the edges, typical of late fourth-century bronze production. |
