| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Constantius II, adorned with a pearl diadem, rendered in the late Roman imperial style characteristic of the Treveri mint. The effigy displays the emperor in three-quarter view, with the drapery and cuirass folds rendered in low relief typical of mid-4th century provincial workshop production. The surrounding field carries the Latin imperial titulature legend interrupted by the neck of the bust. The coin's irregular flan and heavy patination are consistent with its hammered bronze fabric and extended circulation. |
