Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, two letters are arranged vertically in the field: the letter A above and the Greek letter omega (ω) below, referencing the divine inscription Alpha and Omega. The surrounding legend reads ✠ ORCSIET in uncial characters, distributed around the inner circle. The overall design is characteristic of anonymous Flemish bracteate-style small coinage of the mid-12th century, with a crude but purposeful strike typical of hammered mailles.
