Obverse description Central equilateral triangle with a pointed annulet at each of its three vertices. A six-pointed star occupies the center of the triangle. Outside each side of the triangle, a fleur-de-lis is flanked by two pellets, one on either side. The overall composition is arranged symmetrically within a plain field, reflecting the anonymous feudal coinage style characteristic of the County of Flanders.
