Reverse description A classical allegorical female figure, representing History, seated facing front on a plinth, holding a quill in her raised right hand and an open book displaying the cross-charged coat of arms of Languedoc. Additional books and a fasces rest at her feet. The abbreviated legend COM. OCCIT. and the date 1734 appear in the lower exergue, with the remaining legend distributed around the toothed border.
